The Peltor SportTac Hunting is the best-selling hearing protection for hunters in Germany. It has been specially developed for the needs of hunters, sport shooters, police and military. The level-dependent function amplifies weak sounds while effectively muffling loud noises such as gunshots. The capsules are kept flat so there is no contact with the weapon. The Peltor SportTac can be folded quickly and easily. Stowing it in your luggage is no longer a problem. The attenuation values and volume ratios for the hearing protector have been measured in accordance with EN 352-4 2001, EN 352-6 2002 and the applicable parts of EN 352-1 2002, and the product has been approved accordingly. The hearing protector can be optimally adjusted to any head size. The amplification is controlled by push buttons on the right capsule. Operating time with one set of batteries approx. 600 hours.There is an automatic switch-off 2 hours after the last button touch. After 1 hour and 59 minutes, signal tones indicate the upcoming switch-off. An external communication system can be connected to the Peltor SportTac.
