The soft, foam-filled ear pads are hypoallergenic, ensure maximum wearing comfort and effectively reduce noise. The HASPRO baby earmuffs are equipped with a flexible headband that provides a comfortable fit without putting pressure on the head. The adjustable headband also ensures that the hearing protection grows with the child - so it can be used from birth to the age of 3 years.
Noise reduction to a safe level
The noise reduction of the HASPRO baby hearing protection is 23 dB. This means that in a situation where the environment generates a noise level of 90 decibels (e.g. the noise of a lawnmower), the noise reaching the child's ears is reduced to 67 decibels. This ensures the child's safety and protects against the risk of premature hearing damage. According to the standard, noise levels above 85 decibels can lead to hearing damage and disorders of the circulatory and nervous systems. In practice, noise levels of over 70 decibels can lead to tiredness, irritability, sleep and rest disturbances, especially in small children.
Certified hearing protection
The HASPRO baby hearing protection has been tested by a certified test center in Germany (PZT in Wilhelmshaven) and approved for use with babies and toddlers aged 0 to 3 years. The hearing protection complies with the CE 1974 and EN 352-1:2020 (EU) standards.
